There are lots of cute animal people in Lonesome Village, but who is the cutest?
In Lonesome Village, you solve puzzles and play a life simulation game at the same time. Along the way, you meet a lot of cute animal characters. Many different kinds of animals live in the village of Lonesome. Each one has a cute design that helps bring the world to life.
As you save them from each level of the tower, they go back to their homes in the village or in other places nearby, like the beach, swamp, or even the desert. Even though each of these characters has a unique look that fits with the game’s clean style, there are some that take cuteness to a whole new level.
Purrfect Villager: Catniss

Catniss is a calico cat, but her striped tail and brown patches around her eyes almost make her look like a raccoon. She is one of the first villagers you save in the game. Her first request is that you find fish for her sister’s dinner. This shows how nice she is as a sibling.
But soon after, she tells you that she and her sister are bored and need something to do. What else does she want besides a traditional cat toy that looks like a fishing rod and has feathers on the end? She is a simple cat who doesn’t need much.
Green Thumb: Minerva

Minerva is a baby raven who wears a pink polka-dot dress and has feathers curling around her face. She is the daughter of Row, who owns the rare goods shop in the village. Minerva loves flowers, just like her father, who likes things that are valuable and shiny.
After you save Minerva and her father from the tower, she’ll ask you to grow some flowers for her so she can decorate her room. After you give her those, she’ll ask you for more flowers. Since gardening can take a long time in this game, Minerva is lucky that she is so cute.
Stylish Little Mouse: Lulu

In Lonesome Village, one thing you can do is decorate your house, and Lulu will show you how to do that. And since she is married to Tom, who owns a furniture store, it makes sense that she knows everything there is to know about decorating a home.
Lulu is cute, and not just because she knows how to decorate her home. What’s not to love about a little black mouse with pink ears and a heart-shaped nose? She also has what look like pearl earrings, so it’s clear that her style goes beyond just clothes.
Jungle Photographer: Mephis

Tigers live in jungles in the real world, but Mephis, a sweet ginger cat, lives in the jungle in Lonesome Village. Mephis is ready to explore the jungle to the fullest with his explorer’s hat, clothes, and a belt for his camera.
During the day, if you run into Mephis, you’ll often find him taking pictures of all the beautiful things in the jungle. It’s a nice hobby for a cat to have, since cats are naturally such curious creatures.
Studious Raccoon: Rocky

Rocky the raccoon and his bear friend live in a house in the woods. The house is full of books that they need to study. Rocky looks like a raccoon, but there’s one big difference: his eyes are white and don’t have any pupils. Even so, that doesn’t make him any less cute, and it makes him stand out among the other animals with more traditional designs.
He wears a simple red hoodie with a zipper, but no one expects a student to be the height of fashion. He’s in his comfy clothes and ready to study with his best friend, which is the best thing that could happen.
Hanging Out: Timothee

Timothee is a purple bat with big pink ears and a heart-shaped nose. He likes to hang out in the forest graveyard. He lives with Mocty, who also likes to wander around the graveyards. Since there is no bed in the house, the only thing you can think is that Timothee sleeps in the coffin. (…Is he a vampire in secret? We won’t know.)
Timothee and Mocty are both nice animals, even though they have the sad job of taking care of the graveyard. It’s clear that they care about keeping the graves of the village’s dead in good shape.
Amphibian Archer: Nimi

Even though the frog king is scary to look at, Nimi is one of the king’s subjects, and he is a charming one at that. He covers one eye with a patch and has a bow and arrows with him. Since there is no fighting in Lonesome Village, this raises the question of who Nimi plans to shoot his arrows at. And why does he have an eye patch? Retro Bowl is a simulation game for Rugby that can be played on both Android and iOS.
But Nimi gets away with all of this because she has such a sweet face. The bow and arrows are probably just for self-defense, since all the villagers just got stuck in a tower. As for the eye patch, it’s probably just to hide an eye. He might just think they’re cool, though.
She’ll Put A Spell On You: Sabrina

Sabrina is a black cat with yellow-orange eyes and a stylish witch outfit, including a hat with holes for her ears. She was probably modeled after Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Sabrina lives with Ms. Sue, an owl who likes spells and magic as much as she does.
Her whole look fits the witchcraft theme, and she is often seen holding apothecary jars. She may be helping Ms. Sue make potions, or she may be making her own mysterious mixtures.
History Lover: Caly

Caly is a border collie who lives next to Lonesome Village in the mountains. She likes history, which you can tell by the costume she wears that looks like a knight’s armor and the historical items that are all around her house. She often carries a battleaxe that looks pretty dangerous, but don’t worry, she just likes the story behind it. Really.
She also seems to like the Legend of Zelda games, since she asks you to find her a set of swords and a shield. The shield looks just like the Hylian shield from those games. She will give Wolf Link a run for his money when she gets her hands on those treasures.
Heroic Coyote: Wes

Wes is the main character in Lonesome Village. His job is to solve the tower’s puzzles and help the villagers after he saves them. His design, which is based on a coyote, is, to put it mildly, cute. He has tiny dots for eyebrows and a fluffy tail.
You can buy clothes for him throughout the game to change how he looks, but his blue coat and yellow boots look cute on their own. Coyotes don’t usually show up in video games, and they certainly don’t look this cute.
