In addition to the stunning Japanese, Italian, French, Mission, and English Perennial and Rose Gardens, the site hosts art exhibits, open-air concerts, and an annual summer jazz series.
A replica American Bandstand is the setting for the outdoor concerts, with seating in a grassy amphitheater with picnic areas nearby.
